Gutter Cleaning
It’s raining, we all like to hear the soft pitter patter on the roof but maybe you’re hearing the sickening splashing that can only mean that your gutters are overflowing; you waited too long. You’re thinking to yourself “oh no, I forgot to have my gutters cleaned!” And now it’s too late to avoid all the mess.
Gutter cleaning is an essential service to maintain your home. When gutters aren’t routinely cleaned they become clogged, causing the water to back up under the roof shingles, leading to rotting the fascia, roof and other areas of your house. While clean gutters may not be as immediately satisfying as sparkling windows; when the job is done right it will give you peace of mind.
There are three options for how to get your gutters cleaned, but they are not equal. Firstly, they can be cleaned by hand. This takes time but is quite neat as all debris is scooped up and packed into a recycling bag. However, your gutters are high and inevitably there’s an increased liability when somebody’s going up and down a 30 foot ladder for that many times. The second option is to use a leaf blower or a power washer. It cleans those gutters fast and with less ladder moves too, but at what cost! The pressure can damage your gutters and also pushes the decayed leaves and swamp water everywhere: onto the roof, siding, the patio furniture . . . to sum it up it’s an absolute mess. And finally, we use a gutter vacuum, which is the best of both worlds.
Our gutter vacuum technology, specifically designed to clean gutters, is fast, neat and safe. We’re using a machine with three engines and is powered by its own generator, making it five times more powerful than an industrial vacuum. With this power it’ll suck up anything, including any standing water, leaves or even heavier debris such as moss. It goes down a cane shaped pipe and straight into the tank, no mess needed. The pipe is made out of carbon fiber which is gentle on copper and soft materials so there’s no need to worry about it causing any harm. Moreover, we can reach gutters up to four stories high (40 feet!) all while working safely from the ground.
